Making the mamoth

This is Cee Winn, an artist, poet and maker based in London, originally from Cornwall. Cee is wrapped in the fleece of a gigantic woolly mammoth they helped create for comedian and artist Joe Lycett.

I share a studio with Cee sometimes, and when I saw them wrapped up in the mammoth, I couldn’t resist grabbing my camera for a quick portrait.

Cee is one of those wonderfully free and creative people who seem completely at home in a world of making, imagination and the slightly ridiculous. I feel lucky to share a part of my creative life with Cee, and I love how this photograph captures that spirit.

For Pucks Sake at Brighton Fringe 🎪✨

Rah Petherbridge spent the day with Alice Bloomer on For Puck’s Sake at the absolutely lovely Park Venue at ... such a welcoming, accessible space full of brilliant artists, music, cocktails, food and tiny bits of fringe magic everywhere.

The show went brilliantly and a huge thanks to all the lovely audience that helped make this terrific Work in progress feel so seen!! we love those new writing by Alice. A wish and a dream through exploring and accepting environment directed by Maryam Grace.

And Junk Poets might genuinely be the cutest little circus theatre I’ve ever been in 🖤

The whole venue is packed with talent and support for each other and it’s been such a joy to play and photograph.

🌳Rah built and painted this backdrop over the last few days for the shoot, inspired by Fragonard-style gardens and theatrical foliage 🌳

We got to see it come alive with these incredible looks. Honestly so satisfying seeing the textures, colours and costumes all click together in this spectacular image!

I’ve been quietly working on an AI system to run my portrait sessions 🤖✨

She handles everything .
lighting, direction, pacing
all from a London studio with full service

You can talk to her throughout.
She's calm, creative, a bit quirky… slightly obsessed with good light (same tbh)
It still takes 2 or 3 hours.
Some things aren’t meant to be rushed ✨

Pay what you can is staying — she was quite firm on that 💅
