Fabric Under My Skin is a collaboration between Birmingham-based artist Shaheen Ahmed, Bangladesh-based artist and visual artist and photographer Tahia Farhin Haque and Lahore-based visual artist Saba Khan, that seeks to understand transnational movements, migrations and friendship of artists.

The trio consolidated the archives from their respective locations to map out movement of ideas, friendships and conversations. This led to an understanding of a larger narrative between the regions through a selection of past and current artists and educators.

Explore the Mapping Memory Instagram page and website to see the results of the project, including digital artworks and various visual representations of their research. 👁

Tahia Farhin Haque's artwork was exhibited at the Tate . Her artwork was projected onto the great Henry Moore gallery wall at the Tate Britain.

She created this piece - titled 'Birth Of Intelligence ' - for Tate Collective open call, with the given theme being 'cyborg futures'. Her artwork is a mixed media art made through painting and collage inspired by the life cycle, starting from biological microlevel microorganisms to the level of machine made intelligence, that is omnipresent now.

It was a nice to see everyone's artwork on the theme.
