You’re not lazy if you haven’t printed your photos.

Whether it’s 500+ wedding images or the 15 squillion on your phone, it can feel overwhelming.

But when they're up on the wall… you don’t have to remember to look at them, they become part of your life.

This year, I’m FINALLY sorting the 4 years of photos that have piled up since I became a mum. The plan is to turn them into actual prints/books/other tactile bits that enrich life. I’ll share what I'm learning as I go, for anyone else staring at 25,000 digital photos and thinking "argh, where do I even start?!"

If the idea of posing for wedding photos fils you with awks, you’re not alone!

But you don’t really need poses, you need something to do. That’s why some people struggle when their photographer is totally hands off - you’re left in a void, feeling like you have to perform.

And that’s why I do give direction, so you have something to work with. But with me the ‘pose’ is just an orientation - a starting point, not something you have to hold.

When you live 5 minutes from a stunning wedding venue, you get to know it inside out…

Clissold House is one of my favourite East London wedding venues to photograph and as a Stokey local it has a special place in my heart (and in fact my daily life).

Here’s why my couples fall in love with it.

Believe me when I say this is crucial… Take your first kiss as a married couple s l o w l y so your photographer can get a fabulous photo. I always remind my couples of this, after the one lightening-speed peck that evaded my camera back when I was just starting out.
