Fourteen years ago, I stepped in front of my own camera and created this self-portrait while I was pregnant.

At the time, I had no idea just how much these photographs would come to mean to me. Looking back now, I'm so grateful I took the time to document such a fleeting chapter of my life.

That experience is one of the reasons I specialise in maternity photography today. I know how quickly pregnancy passes, and I know that these portraits become far more precious with each passing year.

Every time I photograph an expectant mum, I hope I'm creating images she'll treasure just as much as I treasure this one. 🤍

A little trip down memory lane... ✨

I came across these beautiful maternity portraits from two years ago while looking through my archives, and somehow the smiling image was never shared!

I'm not quite sure how that happened because I absolutely love it. 🤍

Moments like this remind me why I never delete old galleries—there are always hidden gems waiting to be rediscovered.
