Catching up on a few projects, photographed in recent months.

First up: The Thornton Building at the Wellcome Genome Campus in Hinxton. This building, home to over 200 staff from EMBL’s European Bioinformatics Institute, was designed to support collaboration, innovation, and sustainability. It represents a notable expansion for this key hub in genomics and computational biology.

Something non-photography related, something much more important.

I haven’t posted for a while. But if you could spare a moment and some cash to donate to a cause very close to my heart, that would be ace.

I’ll be running the London Marathon on the 27th of April for Headway - The Brain Injury Association. Some of you will know the story behind my link to them, but please take a look at the page in my bio.

Thank you

“We’ve taken great inspiration from Sir Giles Gilbert Scott in everything from the drama and scale right through to individual material choices and I hope this is reflected in the experience of everyone living or working in the building as well as visitors.” Sebastien Ricard, Director

Looking back to September and shooting The Bathing Pools in Guernsey.

The original pools were built in 1844 and the changing rooms were added in the 1930’s.

The replacement building designed by knits into the Rocky outcrop and provides a formal elevation to the pools.

A very fun two day shoot with bonkers weather and some extremely committed dawn swimmers.
