London might be one of the largest metropolitan areas on the planet but these two parks, Richmond & Bushy park in south west London.
Once home to monarchs for hunting deer, their descendants roam these parks still. Over 600 in Richmond and 320 in Bushy, both red and fallow graze the park freely.
Both are recognised internationally as vital to London’s biodiversity, with rare species of many animals, insects and trees centuries years old.
Not to mention the relief the parks offer to Londoners as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. 🌳 🍁🧡💛
