The biggest myth about newborn photography? That babies sleep through the entire session.

That’s rarely the case. It takes time and patience, cuddles and feeds, burps and nappy changes. There’s no rushing a newborn, and that’s exactly how it should be.

Sometimes, those quiet awake moments create some of my favourite images 🫶

You might think your toddler won’t want to be in the photos… but they absolutely will. 🤍

I never force it. I start by focusing on your newborn, giving them time to settle into the space and watch what’s happening. Slowly but surely, curiosity takes over and before long they’re cuddling, kissing and wanting to be part of the photos too.

Some of the sweetest images from a newborn session happen completely on their terms. ❤️
