“She can be a bit wary to strangers”

I met Helen and her Australian Cattle Dog x New Zealand Sheep Dog, Wynnie.

Helen told me that Wynnie can be quite wary of strangers, and sometimes growls or nips when she feels unsure around someone. She said this makes her feel safe though when out in public.

At home, Wynnie has a habit of biting their sleeves and trouser legs. So many of their trousers have shredded bottoms! 😂

Wynnie has been challenging to train, but Helen says she’s a lot better now. And going through all of those challenges together has only made their relationship stronger.

Helen even told me that she often feels like she doesn’t deserve her. But I think that says more about how much she loves Wynnie than anything else❤️

I met TWO Dalmatians!

Ad/ Meet Tracey, Hugo and Zara 🤍🖤

Tracey rescued Hugo when he was just 18 months old and he’s now 14, and 3 years ago, Zara came into their life too. Now 7, Zara had come from a bad home where she had been bred from in a crate in a kitchen. Tracey gave her the safe and loving home she deserved, and today she gets to spend her days alongside Hugo.

Tracey told me she simply couldn’t imagine life without dogs. She couldn’t be without them. She loves all animals, but dogs have always had a special place in her heart ❤️

And if you’ve ever lived with a Dalmatian, you’ll may know exactly what she means when she says they’re HUGE food thieves…One day, Tracey and her partner came home to discover that an entire pot of chilli con carne had disappeared from the glass hob.

Neither of them knew what had happened.

They both assumed the other had cleared it away and put it in the freezer…It was only later they realised the truth!

Hugo and Zara were loving the treats from Tails.com and even tried to steal a few packs out my bag!
