Who else is struggling with social media right now?

I’m still here (and taking bookings, including some last minute availability for weddings and lifestyle photography this Summer) just not “here” on social media too much at the moment.

I have so much love which I captured in the past few weeks to post though... like Vronni and Nick (pictured here) on the beach in Folkestone last April... and a few exciting days full of love and joy to photograph ahead (including two weddings abroad in September/October)! I promise to try to do that as soon as I figure a healthier way to work / cope with social media.

My website is almost up to date (including pricing) too and a new one will be coming at some point soon too, thanks to the amazing advice I received at workshops and during mentoring sessions with fellow wedding photographers who inspire me and so many others (yes, you, , and ).

Would you have your dog/companion animals for witness for your wedding? or officiant?

One of the takeaways from our recent US road trip? Dogs (and other companion animals) can be a legitimate wedding witness there, in some states, because those states only require one human witness or none! There’s also states that allow them to be the officiant (!??) and i’m all here for that!

L’Amour dans Paris…

Pros and amateur photographers: what are your fave pictures captured with? A camera, phone?

I’m not usually huge fan of the romantic reputation (cliché?) the “City of Love” has… likely linked to my many (non photo related) work trips there.

With that said I warmed up to it throughout the years and always try to keep an open mind and heart, and a camera or phone handy there because… it’s trying hard to make me change my mind… like throwing this scene near Notre Dame in front of my (soaked) eyes as I was trying to get to the nearest Metro station with Marcel in the middle of a bad rainstorm…

This couple picture was captured on an iPhone 13 Pro and is joining another firm favourite of mine - this time captured by Canal Saint Martin on a Blackberry - a reminder that whilst equipment (back up especially) matters in photography it’s nothing without an “eye” and looking around you.

ps: if anyone knows this couple, please point at them as i’ll happily send them the picture!!

How cute are Ellie () and her humans captured around Old Royal Naval College after winning a relaxed family photo session with myself at the first Greenwich Dog Show organised by last year?

No pawsing, just being themselves with a hint of directing occasionally.

ANNOUNCEMENT!!

The dog show returns this Sunday, May 26th (11am-4.30pm) on the grounds of the ORNC in Greenwich with more categories, stalls and fun to have for dogs and their well-behaved humans and is free to visit / watch! (£5 to enter the fun show classes - book online or limited spaces on the day)!

Marcel and I cannot wait to help judge the show this year again and meet everyone - the lucky Best in Show winner will get away with a photo session voucher with myself too!

How’s your year been so far? On the day after Valentine’s Day, I still celebrate Love, because it should be celebrated every day in my opinion.

This is a surprise proposal I helped plan and then captured a while ago for two lovely US citizens and fellow corgi humans, at St Dunstans and then along the Thames… THE moment captured discreetly, having liaised with you to plan it (using my extensive London / travel knowledge) then some relaxed portraits of the two of you to commemorate the occasion..

I’m currently away on a big adventure in the USA but working remotely when not off grid (and capturing a personal project along the way) if you have any question or wanted to discuss your wedding plans or my capturing your love, life and/or work memories, naturally (dogs welcome, well encouraged actually) do email me on [email protected]!
