Well here I am in 2016.

They said I'd never make it!

I'm excited to tell you I'm kicking off the new year as part of the inaugural Photo Scratch organised by fellow LCC MA alumni Hanna-Katrina Jedrosz ! I'll be showing a very early stage preview of a yet untitled project about the moments after waking up from a bad night's sleep.

A night for new ideas, Photo Scratch is an opportunity for photographers to understand how their work is perceived and gain valuable insight into how to take their work further with the benefit of other people’s outside eye. For spectators this is an opportunity to preview projects, offer feedback, and engage in conversations about photography.

This event is free, but booking is required.

Super excited to announce my new project, Before the Storm, shot on a 10-day residency in Deauville, France.

The project is also being exhibited for a month at Planches Contact Festival alongside the work of 9 other 'young' photographers. My friends Carl Bigmore, KOS and I are off on a road trip to Normandy this weekend to present our work to a grand jury. Wish us luck.

Amazing news - I've just been awarded a place by Planche(s) Contact festival for a 10 day artist's residency in Deauville, France at the end of June. There will be an exhibition of the project in October back in Deauville, after which the prints will be retained for the city's archive.
