"How can one capture the essence of an artist's work?"
Recently, I had the privilege of creating a video about the incredible artist Conrad Jon Godly at JD Malat Gallery. This project was a full-circle creative journey, where I handled every aspect—from writing the scenario and analysing his previous work to preparing interview questions, filming, and editing.
💡 Here’s what went into bringing this story to life:
✔️ Understanding the Artist: I spent time delving into Conrad’s previous works to truly capture the essence of his artistic journey and vision.
✔️ Crafting the Story: Writing the scenario and preparing thoughtful interview questions allowed us to explore his inspirations, challenges, and the meaning behind his creations.
✔️ Filming the Process: Capturing him at work in the studio brought an authentic and intimate look at his creative process.
✔️ Emotion in Editing: Through careful pacing, music selection, and dynamic cuts, I aimed to reflect the depth and emotion of his art.

This project reminded me why I love storytelling through video—connecting with people, diving deep into their stories, and sharing them with the world.
