Today the photography world has lost one of its greatest mischief-makers, Martin Parr. He had a way of holding up a mirror to everyday life that was sometimes a little bit too clear for comfort.
But for many photographers, especially those drawn to candid humour and the unscripted quirks of human behaviour, he was a genius. He showed that there’s beauty, wit, and truth in the moments that aren’t polished or polite.
RIP Martin Parr. Your eye definitely changed mine.

D.Day out of the office and off to the South of France 😂 18 months in the planning and I thought it was someone pulling my leg when the enquiry initially came through!. Now after multiple meets and an Islington official bit I’m off to photograph what feels like a couple of mates throw a spectacular party … in a vineyard … how appropriate 🫣😵‍💫😂🥂.
