We are delighted to announce that we have achieved a significant milestone in our large-scale digitisation project for the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew. Over one million plant specimen sheets have now been digitised and have additionally been transcribed and recorded from Kew's archive. The project, which is currently on target to finish a year ahead of schedule, has already led to a number of interesting discoveries, including specimen sheets signed by Charles Darwin, Henry Fox Talbot, and even Charles Dickens, as well as specimens from renowned botanists Richard Spruce and Richard Evans Schules.
