Last month it was the World Cinema Premiere of London’s Last Wilderness at the Prince Charles Cinema just off Leicester Square. There were 300 guests from all walks of life such as, filmmakers, explorers, diplomats, film technicians, ecology and environment organisations, mariners, fans of the film, family and friends, Uruguayans and British connected to TV, advertising, cinema, football. Many arrived from Barcelona, Warsaw, New York City, Montevideo and the South Atlantic. And from the English cities of Plymouth, Nottingham, Oxford, Guildford, Leigh-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea, Rochester. Photographing the event was Daniel Filgueiras and these are some of his pictures. I have added other photos as well as I looking into the shoebox of pictures. Of course I haven’t covered everything here.
