From the archives…a subtle, gentle Spring dining scene. Frothy amelanchier blossom, blowsy tulips and muted colours along with the most beautiful earthy ceramics.

This was my first attempt at film, trialed on a workshop run by at way back before the pandemic, I think in 2019?. I was reluctant to share these until I was confident in offering film properly at weddings and then completely forgot about them.

The styling is so beautiful, I’m digging them out here for Spring, only 7 years later!

The most gorgeous of Spring shades on these pastel boquets.

My wedding season begins this weekend, and what a season it is shaping up to be. The loveliest couples, some of my favourite venues, plus a few that I’m excited to work at for the first time and no doubt a host of brilliant suppliers creating fabulous parties.

Bring it on!

A couple of weeks ago I met the sweetest couple P & M and their closest family who gathered together in London so that P could surprise M with a proposal.

I was so touched by the thought that had gone into making this day special from scouting out the location to flowers, candles and restaurants. Their families had been caught up in the recent air travel disruption and after many cancelled flights it was clear how much being together meant to them all.

Portraits captured amongst the cherry blossom at St. Paul’s cathedral on a mixture of digital and film. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together P&M.

With thanks to for their swift turnaround on the film

New updates to website, coming soon!

I’ve been giving myself a little portfolio review which I try and do (but don’t always mange) at the end of every season.

It’s always interesting to see which images I find squirreled away, that for whatever reason didn’t make my initial choices but now appeal in a different way.

For the first few years of shooting weddings, I’d be anxious about getting certain shots, fixating on what a ‘wedding photographer’ should capture but I now find a lot of inspiration from other kinds of photography - street, family, architecture, and especially all kinds of film photography, for the slower, more emotion-led moments of what it really felt like to be there.

I am absolutely delighted to have been added to the approved supplier list at .

Combining stunning classical architecture, one of the most impressive glass houses in the country and stunning landscaped gardens, Syon is a very special venue.

I’m so honoured to work alongside their caring and fantastic team and I can’t wait for several weddings I have coming up there this year.
feel as if I have barely scratched the surface of photography oportunites here. Stay tuned!

Congratulations to the Natural History Museum on being named the most popular UK tourist attraction.

I’ve been coming here since I was little and it’s been a huge honour to photograph weddings here in recent years.

The vast spaces make it an interesting challenge as a photographer but it’s always fun to see how planners, florists and production teams tie romance with such an epic building.

I loved these enormous wonderful poppies lighting up the bar. Modern-classic, black-tie styling.

Winter skies

OOO as I head for some sunshine, winter skies and beautiful colours.
Summer is such a heady rush work wise that I’ve recalibrated to get my fix of downtime during Winter. And I love the clear space, empty horizons and dreamscapes. I’ve no idea if that’s a real word but it fits.

Postcards from the S of France one recent Winter.
