Not my normal type of shoot as I’m usually drawn to all things girly and dreamy and I also know nothing about investment but this was definitely a ‘pinch me’ moment ✨ I shot and edited this video for which showed in Airways International Lounges end of 2022. So grateful 💛

‘Frances Segelman: an interview with the Royal Sculptor’ is an exclusive documentary, shot in partnership with and , in conjunction with their ‘Majesty’ exhibition. welcomes us into her home for an intimate interview where she recalls compelling stories about her time with the Queen, and her unique experience in visiting Buckingham Palace to sculpt Her Majesty. The documentary also features never-before-seen footage of Segelman’s house, the inside of which includes her home-studio which is elegantly decorated with countless examples of her own art pieces. From dynamic sketches of the Duke of Edinburgh hanging on the wall, to her dining room, you are surrounded by famous faces cast in bronze.
It was a true pleasure meeting you Frances. The epitome of elegance and grace and a lovely person inside and out.

‘The Life of Stony: Mind, Heart and Art’.

I have lived and breathed this documentary for the last few weeks and can honestly say it was one of the biggest and most demanding projects I’ve ever worked on. But seeing the way we have been able to tell the fascinating story of this truly inspirational man makes me so proud. Can’t wait to show you the full documentary - coming soon! 🎥

I had the honour of filming my mother in action in the most beautiful yoga studio during my visit to South Africa recently. Yoga has been a big part of my life since a very young age due to her career making this project extra special and long overdue.

I’ve used this page purely as my portfolio since I started so I thought this would be a good time to introduce myself. My name is Grace - although everyone on here calls me Gigi understandably 😅 Gigi is my nickname and also a play on my initials GG. After moving to London end of 2019, I bought myself a camera and haven’t looked back. I still pinch myself that this is my career now. Being self employed has had its ups and downs and damn is it tough at times but all the stress was not in vain. A few weeks ago the stars aligned and I was offered a full time position as cinematographer/photographer for a magazine focused on empowering women and the content is going to be so exciting! I can’t wait to be working with you ✨

This photo is of me taking the most difficult photo I’ve ever taken. The uses a waist-level viewfinder and when trying to compose your photo, left is right and up is down. After a minute or two I finally took the picture, actually shocked it came out straight 😅 Swipe to see the photo.
