A campaign doesn’t stop once the photos are edited.

This is where the idea starts to feel real.

I teamed up with Ruby Hill Design to take the images beyond photography and build a campaign that could live in the real world—from billboards and bus stops to digital ads and social media.

Creating great images is one thing. Showing how they fit into a bigger campaign is what brings the whole idea together.

Which brand should I take on next?

The camera is only half the story.

This is where the campaign really came together.

In this episode, I’m breaking down my edit—from Capture One and Photoshop through to the final grade—and showing how a series of small decisions shaped the finished campaign.

Part 4 is where we turn these images into a complete brand campaign.

The idea is one thing.

Bringing it to life is another.

We shot this campaign on the clay courts in Wanstead, and honestly… we got ridiculously lucky. The courts had been closed because of the weather, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves.

From there, it was all about refining the details.

Every frame started the same way. Find the composition. Position the model. Bring the lights in. Then keep making small adjustments until everything finally clicked.

Huge shoutout to the crew who helped bring this campaign to life. It’s easy to focus on the final images, but they’re the result of hundreds of tiny decisions made throughout the day.

In this video, you’ll see a bit more of what that process actually looks like behind the scenes.

Part 3 is where we start breaking down exactly how the final images were created.

What if Speedo’s next campaign had nothing to do with swimming?

That’s the question that started this entire project.

Most people only ever see Speedo in one place: the pool. I wanted to challenge that. Instead of creating another swim campaign, I asked myself what would happen if the brand stepped into a completely different sporting world.

A tennis court became the answer.

In this first breakdown, I’m sharing the creative thinking behind the campaign, why I chose this direction, and how one simple question turned into a full spec shoot.

Over the next few posts I’ll be breaking down everything that went into it, from the research and concept to the production, photography, filmmaking and final campaign.

I’d love to know what you think. Does it change the way you see the brand?
