We’re coming up to our 10 year anniversary of working together, how crazy is that! I first met Emma when I was pregnant and for our second shoot, she brought me a hypnobirthing book, so thoughtful.

For this shoot we wanted to do something fun, here’s a sneak peek. Can’t wait to share the video photos and videos from the shoot!

Do you think I’m right or wrong?

You don’t need to spend a lot fyi, but wouldn’t you rather buy that phone stand than balance it in a pile of books?

It kinda annoys me when photographers give this advice to makers…

Just use daylight and what you have in your home!

When in reality, if you invested in a few key bits of equipment, photography of your products would be so much EASIER and QUICKER.

Plus the quality would skyrocket. Seriously.

(Sorry, someone had to say it)

If you’ve been putting off sorting your Etsy photos because you think you need expensive equipment — this is your sign. 🤎

You don’t. You just need a simple photography setup and a few simple tricks.

Your window is doing more work than you think. ☀️

This is one of my favourite simple setups for makers who want beautiful product photos without a big budget or a fancy equipment. Natural light, kept simple. Plus it works with a phone or camera.

Drop a ✋ in the comments if this is how you shoot your products!

Photography is the basis of your business.

It reflects your branding, your target audience, your marketing & values.

In the online and offline world, it’s hard to market your images without photography.

It’s the foundation for your brand!

Without images, you can’t:

✨ Build a website
✨ Market your biz
✨ Apply for shows
✨ Wholesale
✨ Apply for markets
✨ Sell online
✨ Make catalogues
✨ Business cards for markets
✨ Show up on social media
✨ Create adverts
✨Be featured in magazine or blogs

So let’s level up the photos of your products together!

Yesterday I launched my DIY Product Photography Course for Makers. It’s a 5 week, in-depth course which will transform the way you style and photograph your products. Sign up today with the link in my bio, using code EARLYBIRD to get the course for £200 instead of £250 🙌🏼

Ps this is the cheapest I will ever run the live version of this course so grab yourself a bargain 😉
