So many women have told me:
“I don’t see myself in these photographs.”
The photographs were technically perfect.
Beautiful location.
Professional photographer.
Sharp images.
Good lighting.
And yet…
They hated them.
Why?
Because nobody took the time to understand who they were.
How can you photograph someone’s essence when you know nothing about them?
How can you create authentic personal brand photographs when you’ve never asked:
* Who are you?
* What do you stand for?
* Who do you serve?
* What makes your approach different?
* What do your clients love about you?
* What story are you trying to tell?
Yet I see it all the time.
A laptop is handed to the client.
“Look at the screen.”
“Smile.”
“Turn slightly.”
Click.
Click.
Click.
Then we wonder why the photographs feel empty.
Photography is not about photographing a person.
It’s about understanding a person first.
Before I ever pick up my camera, I want to know everything.
I want to know who you are when nobody is watching.
I want to know how you help people.
I want to know what drives you.
I want to know why your clients trust you.
Because once I understand that, I can translate it into photographs.
The camera doesn’t create authenticity.
Connection does.
Have you ever had professional photographs taken that looked like you…
but didn’t feel like you?
