Fifi the miniature Dachshund made this photoshoot lark look so easy! It helped that she was relaxed and really into those treats.

Treats are the photographer’s best friend but it is a delicate dance we perform. Treats need to be tasty enough to reward a job well done and to reliably guide their gaze towards the lens. However, if they are too tasty you risk driving them into a feeding frenzy. Save the best for last, a high value treat is the perfect post-photoshoot treat or to gain back their attention should it wain away mid session.

Leo was a brilliant model! Like all miniature Dachshunds he was very inquisitive, fun and extremely photogenic. I even got cuddles and an affectionate boop on the nose.

It always amazes me how some puppies just ‘get it’ at their very first photoshoot 🤍📸

Wilbur was one of those pups… completely transfixed by the camera and very happy to pose for treats 😄
And can we talk about those ears?! This stunning dappled chihuahua knew exactly how to steal the spotlight.

He came to see me at The Big Woof Dog Festival in King’s Cross and experienced my pop-up mini studio, and honestly, he was one of my favourites from the entire event! 🐾

I’ve got plenty more pop-up events coming up this year and I am making more room for my full private studio sessions.

Poppy has come to see us a few times but we must confess that they have so far all been at our local pub.

Dizzy for Dizzy!

What a treat. She was an absolute joy to have her in front of the camera and she looks fabulous on this pink backdrop. She came to see us at our recent pop-up event hosted by the wonderful in Battersea.

Her playful energy resulted in a lovely mix of classic portraits and animated moments that show off her whole personality.
