Celebrating our first year anniversary today ✨
Our DIY wedding in the middle of a field was no mean feat, but worth every second. We wanted to create a day that felt authentically ours forever. We grew all our own flowers, hand punched all the confetti, made 140 tin charms, rolled and mowed the fields for 6 months, begged Ambers brother to make a cake of our cat. Ambers dad made an ice cream bicycle and her sister made her evening dress. We managed to get running water 200 metres down a field and set up a campsite with showers. Sourcing hundreds of metres of festoon lights and shepherds hooks. Our talented best friends played music through out the day and made all our stationary. A team of 15 friends harvesting flowers and making the displays for the marquee and church. We could not have done any of this without our village of friends and family 💖
