Savoca is the most famous filming location from The Godfather Part I. It's where Michael Corleone begins his exile in Sicily and meets Apollonia.

Francis Ford Coppola used nearly the entire local population as extras for the wedding and street scenes. Many of these locals still live in the village and share their stories with visitors.
