You didn’t think a pre shoot was worth it?

But this is exactly why I still recommended it.
Because I’m photographing their UK wedding, and this part matters. It becomes part of their full story - not just one chapter in another country, but who they are here, together, now.
And also… every photographer works differently.
How I direct, how I read you as a couple, how I create space for you to just be yourselves - that’s not something you can replicate from another shoot with someone else.
This wasn’t about repeating something they’d already done.
It was about grounding our work together before the wedding day.
No family.
No timelines.
No outfit changes.
No pressure.
Just the two of them, slowing down, getting comfortable in front of my camera, in a way that actually reflects how I shoot and how I see them.
By the end of it?
They were so, so glad they did it!
Not because they didn’t already have beautiful photos - but because this felt different.
More them.
More intentional.
More connected to what’s coming next.
