Bachpan ke Khuaab, Aaj ki Reality.

Bachpan mein na…
khuaab bohat simple hotay thay.

Sochte thay bara ho ke
pilot banain gay ✈️
cricketer banain gay 🏏
ya bas itna ke

Tab yeh nahi pata tha
ke khuaab poore karne ke liye
ghar se door jana parta hai.

Bahar jaa ke settle ho jao gay.

Koi yeh nahi poochta
ke wahan jaa ke
khud ko kahan settle karain gay.

Zindagi kahan le jaayegi… kya hoga kal, kuch bhi pata nahi.
Bas roz uth kar muskurana seekh liya hai.

Apnon se door, shehron ke beech khud ko dhoondhte hue,
sapne toh bade hain… magar dil aksar thak jata hai.

Kabhi yaad aati hai maa ke haath ki chai,
kabhi ghar ki woh awaazein jo shor lagti thi,
aur aaj sukoon lagti hain.

Baher reh kar samajh aata hai,
ghar sirf jagah nahi hota…
log hotay hain, yaadein hoti hain,
aur woh ehsaas jo har din saath nahi hota.

Hum mehnat kar rahe hain, khamoshi se.
Kisi ko shikayat nahi, bas thodi si yaadein hain.
Agar tum bhi door ho apne ghar se,
toh samajh lena… tum akelay nahi ho. ❤️

Cambridge ajeeb sheher hai…
Purani imaaratein, pathar ki deewarein, River Cam par chalti punting boats — sab kuch khoobsurat hai.
Magar is khoobsurti ke beech, main ek pardesi hoon.

Yahan ghoomta hoon, sheher ko dekhta hoon…
aur saath hi apne ghar, apni gali, apni zubaan ko mehsoos karta hoon.
Safar lamba tha, faislay mushkil thay —
lekin har desi ki tarah, khwaabon ko poora krnay nikal para.

Pardesi ho kar jeena aasaan nahi hota,
magar khwaabon ke liye sab kuch sehna parta hai.
