Pembroke Lodge wedding in Richmond Park 🌿

Malin and Sean’s wedding at Pembroke Lodge was the perfect mix of relaxed, elegant and full-of-joy London wedding energy. 🤍

The morning started just down the road at Richmond Hill Hotel where Malin got ready with her closest friends and family — calm vibes, great light, and a little pre-ceremony excitement in the air. ✨

Then it was off to Pembroke Lodge in the heart of Richmond Park for their ceremony in the Russell Suite.

One of my favourite things about weddings here is how everything flows so naturally — ceremony, gardens, drinks, dinner — all in one beautiful place. 🌿

After they said their vows, guests spilled out into the gardens for cocktails and drinks while the Russell Suite was turned around for dinner. Glasses clinking, sunshine, and that relaxed Richmond Park atmosphere. 🥂

Richmond Park weddings just hit different — sweeping views, wild deer wandering nearby, and that peaceful “you’d never guess you’re in London” feeling.

Unpopular opinion: I actually love group photos at weddings 🪩

When they’re done right, they’re quick, energetic, and genuinely fun.
Hot take: group photos are also the most printed images my couples order.

Here’s how to make them painless (and actually enjoyable):

🪩 Limit the list – 8–10 group shots is the sweet spot
🔥 It’s your wedding – you don’t owe anyone 100 photos “just in case”
👉 Appoint a people-gatherer – loud, confident wedding party members thrive here
🥂 Timing is everything – start of drinks reception or straight after the ceremony
🤩 Keep them candid – movement, prompts, kids running about = instant magic
🕰️ Plan the ‘everyone together’ shot strategically (it takes longer than you think)
🎉 Short & sweet wins – get it done, get back to the party

A lot of people worry they won’t know what to do, how to stand, or how to look natural. The truth is, you don’t need to be “good at posing” to have beautiful wedding photos. You just need a little guidance.
Here are 10 wedding photo pose ideas you can practise ahead of time so you feel comfortable, confident and like yourself on the day. 😘
And in case you’re wondering — Max & Reyna are a real married couple, not models. I photographed them at one of my favourite spots, Richmond Park, keeping everything relaxed and natural.
Bonus tip: if being in front of the camera feels daunting, an engagement shoot can really help. It’s a chance to get comfortable, build trust, and practise natural movement before the wedding — with zero pressure.

The Depot N7 is one of those venues that gives you everything if you know where to look 👀
I always start by letting couples just exist in the space — no over-posing, no rushing.
Here’s how I use the venue 👇

– The big empty warehouse
Clean, industrial, full of light ✨
Perfect for bold, editorial frames 📸

– Under the signage
Those iconic rusted signs are made for relaxed, cinematic portraits 🎬
A quick pause, a kiss, a laugh and done 🤍

– The courtyard + surrounding streets
Textured walls, brickwork, black wooden doors , unexpected corners, a clock tower and a classic corner shop, London doing what it does best 🏙️

– In-between moments
Walking, chatting, laughing at each in jokes, a sneaky bum grab- all the things that make your wedding uniquely yours.
