Neil is a professional photographer and educator with over 15 years of experience. His interest in photography began in his early twenties while working and traveling in Australasia and Asia. Growing up in the north of England, Neil would escape to the countryside whenever he could. This fascination with the natural world and contrasting environments is at the heart of his landscape photography an
d an infinite source of inspiration. As a photographer, Neil uses digital and analogue cameras for his work, which has been published and exhibited internationally. On his workshops and tours, Neil will give extensive photography tuition while sharing his expertise, knowledge, and experience enabling you to become a better picture taker. This includes group and one-to-one instruction, demonstrations, and feedback along with critiques of your work. The tours and workshops are very practical with constant support in the field while developing your skills and techniques. All abilities are welcome from beginners to aspiring professionals. They not only focus on the technical aspects of capturing an image but the creative side too - how to develop your eye and make pictures your own. This is something Neil is very passionate about - developing your creative aspects of photography. Neil’s passion and energy for photography are boundless and likes to create a collaborative, fun, and relaxed environment. With small group sizes, you always get personal attention and plenty of time for feedback and guidance. When a workshop is completed we always encourage people to keep in touch and ask any questions, which may arise and can give feedback on future work.
