There’s a reason so much of the Jane Austen canon has been filmed here, the romance in the landscape and light in this part of England is unmatched. Like Elizabeth Bennett, “I’m very fond of walking”, so it’s a bit of heaven.

Castleton is a lovely village with stone cottages and a river winding through, don’t miss CASTLETON COFFEE CO.

Visit a Peak District landmark, Headstone Viaduct, a perfect place for a walk. We love the Monsal circular walk that passes through Ashford-in-the-Water.
In charming Ashford-in-the-Water is the lovely The Ashford Arms an idyllic pub newly renovated with cozy interiors and a 10/10 menu that hits the spot after a long walk.
The first Pemberley, Lyme, Cheshire is a stunning house and gardens featured as Mr Darcy’s abode in the BBC’s Pride and Prejudice. Don’t miss the costume room where you can try on regency era clothes to wear during your visit!
