Three lovely days in Covent Garden, thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, and spent time looking through the work.

It’s always special to take the prints out into the world and see people connect with them in real life. I spoke with aspiring photographers, world travellers, tall ship deckhands, pushpin artists and locals walking by.

A small moment from the Piazza that caught my eye - a man standing with a bird perched on his head, seemingly unbothered by everything happening around him. That made me stop and smile.

Grateful for all the conversations and support over the last few days.

I’ve been talking a lot to people recently about AI and how it’s shaping our lives.

The value of human connection is easy to take for granted. Our phones constantly pull our attention away from the people beside us. As AI becomes more woven into our world, I sometimes wonder what happens to our human presence.

Connection needs practice. It needs intention. Without tending to it, it can slowly become the exception rather than the norm.

The value of human connection is hard to measure and easy to take for granted.

It’s often only in moments of loneliness or isolation that we truly feel how much we need one another.

Our phones constantly pull our attention away from the world around us, from the people sitting beside us, from the conversations unfolding in real time. As artificial intelligence expands further into our lives, I wonder how far our attention will drift into our devices.

We can easily lose our way when we’re not paying attention to where we’re going. If we are not mindful of our human connections, might we one day look around and find they have quietly diminished?

Connection needs practice. It needs intention. Without tending to it daily, it can slowly dwindle unnoticed until it becomes the exception rather than the norm.

As AI continues to grow into our lives, perhaps it becomes even more important to appreciate and protect our human experience. To value human conversation, presence, touch, eye contact and shared laughter. To look up, listen well and reach out. To remember that our future is shaped by the quality of our attention and the depth of our human connection.

Alongside my photography, I also offer online counselling and small wellbeing circles.

These are calm, confidential spaces where you can pause, reflect, and be supported, whether you’re facing stress, life transitions, or simply want a space to think and feel.

I’m a BACP registered counsellor, and my work is grounded in ethical, professional practice.

Photography and counselling may seem different, but for me they share the same goal: helping people see, feel, and celebrate life.

If this resonates, you’re very welcome to send me a message to find out more or book a session.
