It’s been a journey, but I’m excited to launch a Kickstarter for my photo book, Negative Space: Women of Colour in Photography. I need your support to help achieve our goal to raise funds to publish & share this inspirational photo book, which features interviews & photography, about ten women of colour’s experience navigating the photography industry. I am very excited to finally share our participatory documentary photography zine presenting all of the amazing work created by, and for, the Eye to Eye group at Southwark Pensioners’ Centre http://www.southwarkpensioners.org.uk/. The zine contains 40 pages of photography and narratives which document the group’s daily experience of sight loss in the London Borough of Southwark, plus much much more!

The project was put on hold due to the current crisis, therefore, we are selling this zine to raise funds for this special charity, who continue to support some of our most vulnerable in the community in challenging times. 100 % of any money raised will go to the charity. I appreciate it’s a tough time for us all, but I hope that it’s an investment in community, creativity and social change. Also, if I don’t say so myself, it’s a bloody great zine.
