Your newborn photographs are different to the ones you take yourself.

Both are special, of course!

However, when an experienced, trained photographer like me is capturing a gallery of images for you, I know exactly how to pose your little one so you see how small they were, their tiny toes, their face, their fingers.

Take a look at your camera roll of your own photos, cute? Yes! But more often than not your baby looks like a burrito with a face or a pile of blankets.

I've honed my skills over years to make sure your memories can be perfect.

No big set. No busy props. Nothing to distract from how tiny they are.

Just your baby, those curled up legs, those soft newborn rolls and that very short window where they still fit into positions like this so naturally.

Newborn sessions are ideally booked during pregnancy so I can reserve space around your due date, then we confirm the actual date once baby arrives.

A new baby changes the whole family dynamic, doesn’t it?

One day they’re the babies of the house, then suddenly they’re promoted to big sister status and expected to be sensible. Which, let’s be fair, is a big ask when you’re still small yourself.

That’s why sibling photos are kept relaxed and simple. I’ll never expect children to sit perfectly for ages or perform for the camera. We make it as easy as possible, give them clear little jobs and keep things moving.

Because the best sibling photos often happen when they’re allowed to feel proud, involved and still very much important too.
