Coughton Court is a Tudor manor house that has been the home of the Throckmorton family since the early 15th century. A prominent Catholic family, the Throckmortons were closely connected to several members of the 1605 Gunpowder Plot, including Robert Catesby. During the conspiracy, Coughton Court served as a meeting place for Catholic supporters and priests.

Today you can tour the beautifully preserved interiors, enjoy the gardens and be sure to climb the tower for the amazing view!
