Most of the images I shoot on a wedding day are the candid shots from a wedding which tell the full story. I really love documenting the full context of a wedding day, so you can look back on the images and all the memories flood back.

🧡 A Modern Summer Romance 🧡 - I already know that I’m going to be sharing these images for a very long time to come! I’m extremely proud of what we created!⁣

I wanted this shoot to show an abundance of joy, authentic romance and have plenty of dynamic fun moments! All whilst being modern, stylish and elegant with stunning florals.⁣
⁣
It was important to me that our bride showed off the beauty of natural afro hair and give inspiration to black brides on how their natural hair can be styled. There’s very little natural hair inspiration for black brides which shows the versatility of their kinks, coils and curls.⁣
⁣
The concept evolved a lot since inception and the amazing Emma came up with a stunning warm summer palette. She had the wonderful creative vision of how we could incorporate the venues gorgeous vine as a backdrop. ⁣
⁣
We were blessed with superb weather on the day. I’m so happy that all of our hard work through many obstacles paid off and we created magic! ⁣

A Modern Summer Romance 🧡 - I already know that I’m going to be sharing these images for a very long time to come! I’m extremely proud of what we created!⁣

When planning this shoot, I knew I wanted to show an abundance of joy, authentic romance and have many fun dynamic moments! I also wanted this editorial to be modern, stylish and elegant whilst incorporating stunning florals. ⁣
⁣
It was important to me that our bride could show off the beauty of her natural afro hair to give inspiration to future black brides on how their hair can be styled on one of the most special days of their lives.
