Me and my heroes & 🩷💜
As women photographers it’s important to be visible in front of the camera as much as behind it. The older we get the more we’re expected to fade into the background, but I think it’s exceptionally powerful to subvert that and document ourselves existing, growing, changing. I’ve always found Photo Booth images a beautiful ode to the archival nature of photography and how this style of photography acts a documentation of one’s existence
