Want that studio-quality look outdoors? Use the sun like your softbox.

Position your subject in open shade (next to a building, under a tree, or near a doorway) so the direct sunlight isn’t hitting them. Then face them toward the bright open sky which becomes a giant natural light source that wraps soft, even light across the face.

🔥Pro move: use a light wall or pavement in front of them to bounce light back for that clean, editorial glow.
