Happy New Year everyone!
I've been rather rubbish at sending cards so here's a quick update.
Turn away now if you prefer bad news to good.
All is well! My boys (of course they are men, but they're still 'my boys') are great, my husband has had a tough work year but has made it through and is as fit & lovely as ever; my dog is funny, keeping me fit & making me laugh; my extended family have all made it through the year and I have a new great-nephew (4 months old), and a very new great-niece (4 days ago!). 2025 was an epic year for me. Lots of long & short holidays with people I love. Work in 2025 was brilliant! My best year yet, and I burst through the 100 shoots mark by doing 114 shoots in total, not including the many Barnes Goldens dog shoots for the calendar. So, 18 years into running my own photography business I am taking more time off, working more (better?) when I am around, and making more money. Hurray! I fully appreciate how hugely lucky I am and totally know that the health of those I love is the most important thing. Wishing everyone a very healthy, happy, adventurous, love filled & successful 2026. PS The photo is one of the top moments of my year taken the day after a direct hit hurricane in Bermuda. No apology to anyone who found this post irritating.😘
