A great experience reuniting with Ion and getting more information to further enhance my skills as a photographer. Due to the available weather conditions there was more focus on short excersizes and portraits rather than long exposures or landscapes.

Tried something new this time at the Bucharest International Air Show on Baneasa Airport. Since it was quite dark and rainy outside during the afternoon I decided to capture that mood with darker colors and mostly focusing on B&W, which really does look classy.

Traveling by light aircraft certainly has its perks. Here are some pretty nice shots from inside a maintenance hangar at a small airport just outside Vienna. The lighting was pretty challenging but other than that it was a great experience.

The CES or Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week was definitely an exciting time for photographers around the world as Nikon showcased its new consumer camera, the D5500, which incorporates Nikon's first ever touchscreen. They also released a few very cool lenses out of which I liked the new 300mm f/4 that is smaller than ever but has amazing quality of sharpness and background blur(bokeh). I think everyone had a great time yesterday making music for the kids at a school that was struggling financially. An organisation brought everybody food and small christmas gifts and after we played some jazz they recited poetry and sung Christmas carols for us. This was an excellent opportunity for some people photos too!

The day finishes the first intense half of the JV Soccer tournament hosted here in Bucharest. There were some really great photo opportunities and a great atmosphere!

I really like the colors in this photo, it was taken at sunrise where the sky is much cooler than the warm sunset of the sunset. I took this photo in the Beijing airport as I saw some other photographers take their cameras out and snap a few photos. The reflections of the lights due to the window makes the photo that much more interesting!
