It was such a joy to photograph at the WEUROS2022. When I started with sports photography we always talked about wanting to go to the Euros with the Agency, I Never thought that I would be part of the team that went. Because I don’t make a living off of my pictures and I will probably never have a press card because of that. And there I was with my little camera and got accredited for all the games I applied for 😁[ Germany - Spain 2:0 , 120722 ]

A short overnight stay in Machester for Iceland-Belgium. I really wanted to photograph an Iceland game, because I love the energy their fans have. Belgium fans also always know how to make a party so it was a great game with a fun atmosphere.

Batch number 2 from the first game in Brentford, London on June 8th. Germany beat Denmark 4:0 🥳 We are one of the smaller agencies there and have to compete with the big boys like Getty and Reuters. Also I feel like I was the only one with just one camera and a Fuji no less. I try to get the best out of the equipment I have even though I know I cannot compete with any of the super professionals with their 400mm 2.8 and what not. But I love my Fuji we work great together and I wouldn’t trade it!

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but it’s WEURO 2022 in England right now 🙌🏼 and I was a part of it for a couple of games! Thanks to .callis and I was able to photograph some games at one of the biggest soccer tournaments ever! And what can I tell you I loved it! Not everything about it though because I was a nervous wreck and some points but it all worked out well and it was an Amazon experience.

What a day. I was lucky to photograph the DFB Cup Final, Wolfsburg-Potsdam yesterday in Cologne. You can be sure to be spammed with pictures from this amazing day from now - sorry.
I usually post carousels with my arrangements. But first I wanted to show you my two favourite pictures from yesterday. The first one is the circle from VfL Wolfsburg after final whistle with the Rhein-Energie-Stadion in the background and the team on the screen. Its the calm before the storm, the celebration in this case and I just really like the stadium structure and the overall composure of the picture. And the second is Lynn Wilms with the cup. Its not perfect because its kinda blurry, but I love it. I imagine winning a game like this, you are also in kind of a blur after that and I just enjoy looking at her joy and emotion.

Last 21/22 season game for me yesterday. Leverkusen - Bayern [ 0 : 3 ]. The stands were full, the weather was great and the pictures were plenty so that I had to use all 10 slides.
Now I can't wait for the Cup final and then the European Championship in England.
