Camden Town at Friday evening rush hour.

During my daily allowance of exercise I'm able to capture a few scenes from the capital during these bizarre times.

Last long weekend I rented a Honda VFR (and old dream bike of mine) and rode up to the Peaks, then the Lakes District. It was an idyllic journey of windy, dipping and climbing roads through stunning terrain. One of the greatest things about riding a motorcycle through open, scenic country is the sheer volume of fresh air you gulp in and the varied sensory experiences offered minute, by minute. From damp, mossy valleys to straw-scented high fields, it's all for the taking-in and living through. The bike becomes an extension of one's body and it's the closest feeling I've had to being a bird. These photos were taken with my old Canon AE1 Program 35mm film camera on Fujicolor 200 film.

On the surface it seemed to be an endless sea of middle-class, middle-aged white people out for The Put It To The People anti-Brexit march last weekend 23/03/2019 in London. But under the surface there was a diverse showing of individuals, all of whom were out to have their number counted against the current government's plan.

I was there with an old 35mm camera and a roll of Fuji Provia slide film. I did my best to capture the action through the moving crowds.

I was very lucky to film (as Director of Photography) this famous luxury train from Venice to Paris.

I brought my 35mm camera and some Ilford HP5 film to capture a few shots behind the scenes.

Thanks to our hosts on the VSOE train for their impeccable service and for Pink Banana Studio for taking me along.
