This past weekend we went on a trip to Devon to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary and we stayed at the most gorgeous little place in the countryside. The Orchard Hut at Way Farm.

As always I had my camera with me so couldn’t pass up the chance to get some pictures for the Air B&B hosts Gemma & Jack who made every aspect of our stay perfect. You can really see how much love and care they’ve poured into both their Air B&B and their farm 🚜 🤎

I recently stayed at The Royal Forest Hotel for a quiet birthday escape for my husband’s birthday. The kind of stay where there’s no real plans apart from slowing down for a while. When we entered our room we were greeted by some sweet treats and classical music playing softly, the kind of welcome which instantly makes you feel calm. As always, I reached for my camera and had to capture the way this room made us feel.

The bathroom instantly caught my eye, I loved the design. The soft green tiles, warm lighting, silver details created such a calming atmosphere. I loved the style and how it still felt luxurious without feeling overdone. The Bramley products were such a nice touch too. Everything was so thoughtfully put together. I just couldn’t resist taking a few photos, it really is the kind of space that photographs so beautifully 🫧

And I am still dreaming of how comfy the bed was 💭

FRMD BY CAT 🪞☁️✨

This shoot was all about capturing Cat. The face behind the Frmd by Cat. As a brow mapping artist, she’s built a business around precision, confidence and care. These headshots were created to reflect exactly that: soft, approachable, and elevated.

Her business started as a hobby that has now turned into her full-time job in just a year. A testament to her dedication, talent and passion. Watching someone turn something they love into a business is honestly inspiring because that’s exactly how Shayla Bloom Photography began.

Cat was such a joy to photograph. Warm, kind, and easy to be around. From just spending time with her during the shoot, it’s easy to see how that energy likely carries through to her work and the experience she gives her clients ✨

ꜱʜᴏᴛ ꜰᴏʀ ʀᴏʟʟ ʙᴏʏꜱ | ᴛʜᴇ ꜰɪɴᴀʟ ʀᴇꜱɪᴅᴇɴᴄʏ

I recently went along to capture one of the days of Roll Boys final residency at Saint Espresso in Hackney Wick, East London and this is exactly the kind of work I love most. Photographing small businesses and the people who pour their hearts into them.

George and his team moved into Saint Espresso just 10 months ago, launched his incredible cinnamon roll brand, and have been serving Hackney Wick (and far beyond) some truly insane cinnamon rolls ever since. (I've tried them.. solid 10/10 from me.)

In less than a year, they went viral, grew to over 110,000 followers in that time, collaborated with brands like Nike and Spotify, worked with a host of online creators, and scaled to triple their original productions, all while keeping that welcoming, community feel.

Before the shoot, he told me he wanted the photos to focus on his team, not the product, and to me, that says so much about him.

What really stood out to me was how George treated every single person who came through the door like they were family. How much he values the people behind Roll Boys. From chatting with regulars to welcoming new faces, there was genuine warmth in every interaction he had.

I could see the care and attention he gives to everyone, whether it was offering a smile, a recommendation, or just taking a moment to connect.

Being able to capture those moments, the laughter, the little gestures, the way people naturally gravitated to him, reminded me why I love documenting small businesses. It's not just about the products or the space, it's about the people and the community they build around them.

Although the residency has come to an end, George has some exciting plans ahead, and I can’t wait to see where he, his team, and Roll Boys go next 🥰 📸

You might remember my post about my shoot for Clear For Men a couple of weeks ago, but I wanted to take you deeper into why I captured this image.

After speaking with Louis, learning about his brand and the “why” behind it, and watching him connect with his customers & followers so genuinely through live streams on his platforms, I knew the direction I wanted to take with these images.

I wanted to capture the fast-paced, demanding, working world that most of the men in our lives live in. The early alarms, endless emails, the quiet pressure to keep going. The shirt, the worn leather shoes, the watch, the belt, the AirPods, even the aftershave, all speak to that rhythm of always being “on”.

But tucked inside all of that is something softer, a small reminder to pause. The Clear For Men products stand for that 5-minute break, the breath between meetings, the moment to check in with yourself.

Because the men we care about deserve more than just getting through the day, they deserve space to rest, reset and actually feel alive.

And I wanted to capture that.

For every man quietly carrying the weight of the day❤️‍🩹💛

There’s nothing lovelier than watching people come together at parties/events. This shoot in particular was for a little one’s first birthday. A whole year of giggles, first steps, and endless love wrapped into a day full of hugs and happy memories.

As a photographer, it is such a privilege being invited into moments like this. You’re welcomed in as more than just someone behind a camera, you’re trusted to preserve the tiny details that make a celebration unforgettable: the quiet smiles between relatives, the greetings between old friends, quiet conversations in the corner, the laughter. It’s a reminder of why I love what I do, capturing connections that families will look back on for years to come 🤍

Honoured to be shooting this week for Clear For Men

Louis started his men's skincare brand Clear For Men, after going through his own mental health journey.

His goal is to not only help men feel more confident in their skin, but be a role model and show that talking about vulnerability isn't weak.

He is breaking the stigma around male mental health, one bottle at a time.

He named his debut product, an invigorating facial cleanser 'Take Five' to serve as a daily reminder for men to pause, take five minutes, and prioritise what truly matters: their wellbeing.

This skincare brand is about more than just skin; it's a moment to pause, reflect, and remember that it's okay to not be okay.

A ‘take five’ cleanser can be purchased at the link below👇🏼
