I'm overjoyed to share a significant milestone in my life - the birth of Narrō Studio ! 🚀

My journey in photography has been nothing short of a thrilling adventure. For years, I juggled my role as a part-time freelance photographer with other responsibilities, always nurturing the dream of turning my passion into a full-time profession. Today, that dream has become a reality.

🌟 Narro Studio is the culmination of years of dedication and learning. It's more than just a business; it's a labour of love and a testament to the power of chasing one's dreams.

Photography is not just about capturing moments; it's about telling stories, building connections, and creating lasting impressions. I look forward to partnering with you all to bring your visions to life through the art of photography.

🔭Exploring a new city can be a thrilling experience, especially when you have a camera in hand to capture the unique moments and scenes.

🇩🇰Few months ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Copenhagen and taking one of my favourite photographs while I was there. It was an amazing experience to wander around a city I was unfamiliar with, and to be able to take home a beautiful memento of my time there.

Let me know what you think!

As a photographer, I would like to share with you the importance of printing my photographs. Printing my work allows me to evaluate the quality of my work, and to refine my vision for the final product. It also helps me to appreciate the nuances of my photographs and to connect with them on a deeper level.

Printing photographs is an essential part of the creative process for a photographer. It helps to shape our ideas about the form of our work, and to gain insight into what works and what doesn't. To be able to hold a physical representation of our work in our hands and to be able to share it with others is an amazing experience. By comparing prints side-by-side, we can better understand the form and what we need to do to make the perfect photograph.

I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this topic! What do you think of the importance of printing in a photographer's creative process?

- Have you ever felt trapped by your own emotions, thoughts, and fears?
- Have you ever wondered how to break free from this cycle of oppression and/or depression?

📸 My recent photography project delves into these questions through the use of tree elements, inspired by the ancient Greek nymphs, the Hamadryads, who lived inside the trees. But what do these tree elements symbolize in relation to the human experience? How does the use of the clay "tree masks" and the representation of the human body in different poses convey a sense of loneliness, despair and exhaustion? And most importantly, what does it take for one to break out of this cycle?

👀Take a look at my new photography project at www.johnkolikis.com and let me know your thoughts and interpretations.
