Happy Birthday to our co-Founder, Christoff 🎉❤️

Today we’re celebrating our co-founder of Young Creators UK, YCUK (CIC).

YCUK started from a simple problem Christoff could see clearly through his work in the creative industry: talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t.

While working with major brands, Christoff was also volunteering with young people in his community. Rather than keeping those two worlds separate, he started bringing young people onto sets, lending them equipment and paying them to work alongside him.

That became the foundation of YCUK.

What started with opening up access to real creative opportunities has grown into an organisation built around giving young people the chance to create, develop, work, earn and ultimately have more ownership over the value they help produce.

For years, Christoff has continued to platform young people, back their ideas, open doors and build the infrastructure around them so that opportunity doesn’t depend on who you know or where you come from.

So today, we want to say a massive thank you.

Thank you for the years of work, sacrifice, belief, ideas and persistence that have gone into building YCUK; and for continuing to make sure young people remain at the centre of it.

There are careers, businesses, opportunities and relationships that exist today because you decided to bring young people into the room and build something bigger around them.

Happy Birthday, Christoff. We’re immensely grateful for everything you’ve built and everything still to come. ❤️🎂

Here’s to the Founder. 🥂

Kinda cool when the numbers start telling the story for you. 👀

From becoming the UK’s first impact-led creative agency, to building one of Europe’s largest youth-owned studios, helping launch 55+ companies and giving our members free access to £200,000+ worth of professional kit, everything we build at YCUK comes back to one thing:

Creating real change with and for young people.

We’ve taken youth voice into rooms, industries and opportunities where it deserves to be heard, while helping brands, organisations and partners create work that actually connects with the next generation.

And after working with 100+ companies so far, we’re only getting started.

Want to be part of that change?

For our first content project for YCUK on placement, we chose to celebrate 64 strong years of Jamaican independence. 🇯🇲 As we honour rich culture and the generations who came before us, we also celebrate the young people creating Jamaica’s future through their creativity, leadership, and determination. Here’s to continuing to build a stronger tomorrow together. Happy Independence Day! 💚🖤💛
