Fishing under God’s Eye Mountain. According to local folklore, the massive hole in this mountain was formed when a deity shot an arrow through the mountain to punish a mischievous, disruptive dragon. It seems to have worked, as there were no dragons to be seen.

Of all the things that really struck me about Vietnam, the one I wasn’t ready for was the colour. So much about this country is vibrant, but the colour hits hard. It surrounds you. The clothes, the fields, the buildings and the mountains. And of course, the people. 🇻🇳
