King Rameses!

No , not the great one (thats II) but V or VI (not sure sorry!). I love these two pictures I took through the crowds inside KV9 at the Valley of Kings.

I feel the sarcophagi has a sereneness to it as it lies in wait for the incoming crowds. Is it happy for the visitors or do you think it’s telling them to leave them alone? Or is it just a piece of stone ?

Have you been in a Hot Air Balloon?

I was lucky enough to get go in one over Luxor and was a highlight of the trip! We were lucky enough to get the go ahead after the previous day was cancelled.

The speed at which the balloons were inflated and ready to fly was incredible and the excitement was palpable amongst my fellow flyers.

It was so peaceful and beautiful to be 1000+ feet up in the air at sunrise and luckily got to capture some amazing shots.

Sunsets and sunrises of Egypt. You know I love a sunset so here’s a few* of the ones I took while travelling across Egypt.

Many are over the nile, some from across the desert, some over the ancient history , some from up high and some from down on the ground!

Enjoy ! Next up in the series will coming in the new year.

Egpyt! Starting a new series of pics from my recent trip to this great historic country.

First up - Sphinx and Pyramids! This set of pics shows the power of different perspectives. Same structures but seen from different angles or zoom.

Blows my mind that these are c4000+ years old and still standing. Maybe current property developers should take note!
