Candiceliebeckphotography.com I am a London-based photographer specialising in child and family photography. My style is naturalistic and organic.

I aim to capture precious moments as they happen and see the beauty in the everyday. I prefer to work in environments that feel relaxed, such as your home, garden, the park or a favourite playground as apposed to a studio. I particularly enjoy documenting children at play. My passion for photography started whilst I was working as nanny for a high net worth family. I would document the children’s

growth and present the photos to the family at the end of each year. During this time I developed my style, capturing playful and more candid moments, showing a more genuine representation of the children’s development. Now, as a mother, I capture these moments with my own son. My recent clients have included families, nurseries, The Variety Children’s Club Charity, Big Fish Little Fish Events and Tate Modern.

I’ve got a new studio space! Over the last few months I’ve had to either postpone shoots or cancel because of the relentless rubbish weather. The time has come to get a permanent indoor studio, so I’ve created the space at home. I needed to shift things up and and finally it’s done! Today all the fam got fresh head shots, even the cats. No - I’m not going into pet photography (but never say never…) Though, I am a little obsessed with how cute Basqcat looks😻🤣 The best news is the sun is always shining in the studio.

I’m celebrating, so until I get too busy I’m offering 90min portrait sessions. We can start with some photos in the local area and inevitably end up back in the studio when it starts raining. It’s 5 years since I found out I was pregnant. To celebrate everything that has happened since, I am offering a £50 package that includes a one hour shoot either in your home or a location you feel comfortable in. This mini shoot includes two free images of your choice, with more available to buy on request. This offer is currently available to expectant parents in Camden and Islington.

I took so many selfies during my own pregnancy. I wanted to make a record of how my body was changing - and to chart the magical time before my baby arrived. When I look back at those images, phone held up to the mirror, I wish I had worked with a photographer who could let me be in that moment without thinking about anything but me and my baby - someone that could take photos that were timeless, no phone between me and mirror. I felt strong, nervous, beautiful, fragile, and so many other things - pregnancy is a rollercoaster, but I am so proud of what my body achieved, and of who I was when I took those selfies.

Being able to offer the chance for pregnant people to capture that strange, special time is the best part of my job as a professional photographer.
