What makes our team sharper on site is the cross pollination of skills between rope access and sport climbing.

Every time we train, climb, or push limits outside of work, we’re refining our awareness of rope systems, movement, and safety. 

These experiences flow back into our projects, giving us a deeper understanding of techniques, problem-solving under pressure, and trust in our equipment.

Climbing teaches creativity and adaptability. Rope access demands precision and professionalism. Together, they elevate each other.
The line between “work” and “hobby” is blurred, and we are grateful to be learning new skills everyday. 🔗

The team has been busy in London, providing specialist access and safety for a flue pipe installation, along with a full render and finish for a client living within a residential block.

Working in tight urban environments always brings unique challenges, but with the right skills and planning, we ensure every project is completed efficiently and to the highest standard. Another great job by the team!

Thanks to & I had the pleasure of testing out the new Unity 7.8mm Ropes over in Croatia this summer. ☀️

The Unity line is small and light but MAXIM durable and are all 2x Dry with a regular pattern that can’t be beat for ice and alpine climbing. ❄️⛰️

Testing out the Edge-Sleeve protector. 🚧 This product uses a uniquely innovative material, keeping the rope protector in place without the need for mid-line attachment, such as a prusik or rope clamp. (Image.1)

We tested multiple systems using OpLux 8mm rope, showed a significant reduction in friction, protecting our lines and the natural features of the rock. The Edge-sleeve appearred to show zero signs of wear and remained in place throughout the descents. Sandstone rock is very abrasive towards our equipment and easily damaged by ropes. Looking forward to further tests!
