A British Racing Legend, Recreated

Few cars embody the golden era of British motorsport quite like the 1959 Lister Knobbly. Originally developed by Brian Lister and propelled by Jaguar’s legendary XK straight-six engine, the Knobbly earned its nickname from its distinctive lightweight aluminium bodywork draped over a tubular chassis.

This exceptional continuation example, chassis BHL160C, was built by the reborn Lister Motor Company using original drawings, jigs and period-correct construction methods, resulting in a car so authentic it qualifies for FIA historic racing papers.

Uniquely styled to replicate the famous YOB 575 competition car, it features a hand-built aluminium body, a race-prepared Jaguar 3.8-litre engine producing 325bhp at the wheels, and triple Weber carburettors.

Proven in competition with strong results at both Donington Historic Festival and Silverstone Festival, this one-of-a-kind Knobbly combines period-correct craftsmanship, rarity and genuine race-winning potential, making it eligible for many of the world's most prestigious historic motorsport events.

The Automotive Artisans R33 is powered by a Maserati F136 M139 4.2L V8 engine. It is a naturally aspirated, 90-degree V8 engine developed by Ferrari for Maserati. One of the highlights for me of the London Concours event was seeing Harry Metcalfe's two Porsches. Not only was his 911 930 Turbo S on display, his recently acquired 928 S2 was showcased too. Both cars have had the Sonderwunsch treatment (Porsche's Special Wishes Department) and I can say that the 911 looks even better in real life, compared to what you see on his popular YouTube channel!

Countach Periscopio: The Purest Lamborghini Ever Built

The Lamborghini Countach LP400 "Periscopio" is the earliest and purest production version of the iconic 1970s wedge-shaped supercar. Built between 1974 and 1978, it earned its nickname due to its unique periscope-style rearview mirror integrated into a recessed roof channel, which was necessary to see past the tiny rear window.

Key Specifications & Features:
Engine: 3.9-liter V12 producing 375 horsepower.
Performance: Top speed was famously claimed to be over 180 mph.
Design: Designed by Marcello Gandini, the LP400 lacks the heavy fender flares and wings of later Countach models, preserving the uncluttered purity of the 1971 concept car.
Rarity: Only 157 units were ever built, making it one of the most sought-after and expensive collector cars, regularly commanding over $1 million at auction.

BIG Kitty: Jaguar 420G, 1970

The Jaguar 420G was a massive, luxurious flagship saloon manufactured from 1966 to 1970. Originally introduced as the Mark X in 1961, it was re-badged with minor trim updates. Known for its sumptuous interior and powerful XK engine, it remains one of the largest and most stately cars Jaguar ever built.

This is an authentic looking example from 1970 in what looks to be a well-used, unrestored condition. It bears the scars that many people say you can expect of a car this size and shape!

Fast Kitty: Jaguar XJC 4.2 Restomod. Here are the still images of the car that many of you have found interesting. There's been quite a lot of hate for the wheels, lights, and grille. Certainly, the standard components offer a lovely classic look, though I don't mind admitting that I quite like the modifications on this example. It's those that helped this vehicle catch my eye. Fast Kitty: Jaguar XJC 4.2 Restomod

The Jaguar XJC and its sister model the Daimler Sovereign Coupe are some of the rarest of all Jaguar models with a very short production life of 1975 - 1978. It is considered by many as around the world as one of the most beautiful cars ever produced by Jaguar.

The XJ Coupé was developed as a two-door version of the XJ saloon, retaining the same mechanical base but introducing a pillarless design.

This particular XJC restomod looks rather similar to the same model owned by former Jaguar designer, Ian Callum. However, they are not the same cars.
