Yet again we are getting reminded that is not us(artists) is the tools that matters most.. and yet again I’m here to remind you it’s quite the opposite! I haven’t been active lately although I’m spending some time on ig, getting into conclusion that more and more we are getting told to upgrade, buy new, buy better… like it’s a tool itself will make you a better artist? Am I the only one for who that sounds ridiculous? I’ve been always running on my equipment till it is beyond repair and seriously I see no point upgrading my phone or camera each year rather than contributing to pollution of this already polluted planet. Not only this but getting myself a new camera or phone feels much more exciting that just have it new toy any other day… cherry on top is that I don’t actually care about my equipment all it matters if it WORKS, vision is mine and none amount of mega pixels and all that crap will make it better🗣️😁
