Looking back at Kane Hulse’s Leica Akademie workshop, Colour and Form in the Urban Landscape, through the lens of attendee Christopher Pickering and his M11-P.

Putting the workshop title into practice, Christopher looked for the colour woven throughout the Barbican’s concrete and brick Brutalist architecture, from pockets of green in the planting and trees to flashes of orange and other unexpected tones.

Using these contrasts to his advantage, he carefully considered colour, shape and structure to create compositions that bring a different perspective to this iconic London setting.

LOBA 2026 Shortlist – David Sládek: People of Šumiac

Born in the former Czechoslovakia and living in Great Britain and Ireland, Sládek found a second home, almost two years ago, in the small mountain village of Šumiac in Slovakia. Since then, the photographer has been documenting the everyday lives and traditions of the people living there. Sládek sees his black and white series as a type of bridge between two groups – the locals, and the severely marginalised Roma – who are divided by more than just a stream.

Now showing at Leica Gallery London: Stolen Moments @ LFW.

Dan Nathan turns his lens on the energy behind London Fashion Week, capturing the fleeting gestures, quiet pauses and unscripted moments that unfold away from the runway.

Granted access across London Fashion Week between 2019 and 2024, Nathan spent hours observing and waiting, drawing on his instinct as both a photographer and advertising director to find moments others might miss.

Featuring twelve photographs, Stolen Moments @ LFW is on view from 5th September – 15th October 2027.

A unique perspective for portrait and reportage photography.

With a focal length of 66 mm, the new Leica Summicron-M 66 f/2 creates a natural perspective with a slight telephoto effect. At a wide aperture, subjects stand out clearly from the background, while the soft and harmonious bokeh gives images a distinctive sense of depth. When stopped down, the lens reveals its high resolution, rendering even the finest details clearly.

Introducing the new Leica Summicron-M 66 f/2, a reinterpretation of one of the rarest lenses in Leica M history.

Its unusual 66 mm focal length has its origins in the late 1960s, when Dr. Walter Mandler developed the Elcan 66 mm f/2 for a classified U.S. Navy contract. Created to meet very specific optical requirements, only around 200 of the original lenses were ever produced.

Today, this extraordinary concept returns as part of the Leica Classic Line. Limited to 660 units worldwide, each Leica Summicron-M 66 f/2 is a unique piece of Leica history.

Shot on the Leica M6: 'Rocketship' by Cole Flynn Quirke showing at Manor Place between 4th - 13th September.

Cole Flynn Quirke is a London-based photographer whose work flirts with the tension between solitude and connection. Through an introspective lens, he explores how the vastness of the world can hold both distance and intimacy, and how certain encounters become moments of reflection.

Rocketship is a London story. It's a long term personal project capturing the shifting moments of Flynn Quirke's life in London. Created from photos taken loosely over ten years of living in the city, the work traces an emotional, visual map of what it means to belong. Ultimately, this body of work explores the power of being present: of being awake to the city, to others, and to oneself.
