It's a decision point.

A couple lands on your profile. They've already seen six other photographers today. They're not reading carefully, they're scanning

And in about three seconds they decide: this is for me, or it's not

Most wedding photographer bios sound like this:
"Capturing love stories across the UK""Documentary wedding photographer based in..."

Nothing wrong with it. But it's invisible. It tells a couple nothing about why you, what you stand for, or what they should do next.

Here's what a bio that actually converts does differently:
It speaks to one couple, not everyone. The minute you try to appeal to all couples, you appeal to none. Your bio should make your ideal client feel like you wrote it for them.
