Payal launched her label in 1999 at just 21 and spent the last 27 years building one of South Asia’s most defining contemporary fashion houses. East meets west, rooted in craft and culture, and somehow still the most grounded person in the room.

We were so honoured to sit down with her at her Mumbai pop up that we renamed the episode. Some guests just deserve their own show.

It was so lovely catching up with Neil and hearing all the stories behind such an incredible career. A true legend in the industry and somehow still one of the warmest, most down-to-earth people to sit down with over a cuppa.
